Merry Christmas

We had a nice and quiet Christmas this year. Ellie had a good time. She learned who "Danta" was but didn't quite understand his role. She definately knows who baby Jesus, Daddy Joseph and Mama Mary are and knows not to touch moma's sheep (my nativity set). She never really got into the Christmas tree but always asked Brent to take an ornament down so she could hold it.

She really likes her new Princess kitchen. It talks to you!

But of course, her favorite gift was the Dora bike.

Mostly, she like unwrapping the gifts. Here she is helping Brent unwrap his gift.

Evening Prayers

So she's not so good at folding her arms or closing her eyes, but she's got the words down!

Night in Bethlehem

Our ward's Christmas Party this year was "A Night In Bethlehem" and it was awesome! Each family came dressed up in Bethlehem-ic attire (as one primary child called it) and brought canned food as taxes to Caesar.

Each Auxiliary was in charge of a food booth. Primary was the dairy booth. We served eggs, cheese and olives. The name of our booth: Udderly Whey Cute Dairy-aires. I don't think we offended too many people with that but we sure got a lot of laughs!

And here's a pic of the Primary Presidency!

Other than Brent taking Ellie home after only 30 minutes, it was a wonderful, fun and spiritual night!
