Ellie's Ballet

So, I've decided to enroll Ellie in a Tiny Toes Dancing class. Its for little girls 2 1/2 to 5 years old. Ellie is the one with the pink bows and white sweater and she is the very youngest. She's not so good at following directions, but she really likes it!Despite the amazing talents of her teacher, there's not a whole lot of classical training going on here. If we can keep the tutu on, its considered a successful day. She tries hard, but ya know, sometimes its hard to stay in line.

I don't think the "Moglie-walk" was part of the choreography.

First Birthday Party

Ellie got invited to her first birthday party. For days, all she has done is ask for "Cate's Bo-day Potty". It was a Princess themed party so Ellie went as Princess Dora (that works, right?) and got all dressed up. She picked out a Cinderella gift, helped wrap it and, uh, helped unwrap it.

The party was amazing! There was a castle, a frog you had to kiss, they heard the story of Princess and the Pea, colored paper princesses, got wands and bubbles and TONS of treats. The girls danced to princess music, went on a treasure hunt and ate a castle cake. Very fun day!

Potty Training

Counting

So one day, Ellie was going downstairs and as she did, she counted each step...IN SPANISH. She can't count to 3 in English. Thanks, Dora.
