Simply Find the Motivator

So there's been some improvement in Ellie's dance class. All it took was finding her motivator: Artic Circle ice cream cone. Preferably chocolate and vanilla kind. She's not perfect but is SO much better. Ellie is in the front row in the purple dress.

Lights at Temple Square

I have good memories of seeing the lights at Temple Square. Mostly I remember the crowds and the cold. But I also remember the millions of lights, the Nativities, the bundling up and the wonderful spirit that is there. I also remember Dad telling us about the statues and reminding us that we are related to the guy who scuplted the handcart one. I thought of Dad as we walked by it this night and I told my little girl the same thing. It was especially fun to take Ellie for the first time. She LOVED the lights! We went with our cousins from California. It was very cold for them! Ellie shared her wagon with Andrew.

Emily and Hannah with Aunt Rebecca.

Ellie had the best seat in the house.

Halloween

Ellie wanted to be "Princess Tangeled". So like a good mom, I bought her a dress and even spent $12 on a wig. The picture of the wig online is NOT what I got. The bangs on this wig stuck out like the brissels of a broom! Yes, I put sponge rollers in, used water and then hair gel, and even tried to round brush them. Nope. Broom. She didn't care. She loves her long hair.

Tennis Anyone?

One of the best weekends I've had in a long time...being with nearly all the sisters and mom. We lounged by the pool, took in a little-league football game, painted our toes, ATE...oh, and watched some amazing tennis.Shrek went everywhere we went. He was much better at taking pictures than any of the boys in this family.

Kim's first pedi...not her last!

We missed Dad and JJ. They would have loved to have been there.

Crammed in Liz's Toyota!

I included this pic because I thought the three of us looked like babes!!

A little bit of Pete and Andre.
